Horrific accident in Kadıköy
A chain-reaction traffic accident in Kadıköy involving 2 IETT buses and 5 cars, which left 5 people injured, was captured on security camera.
A chain-reaction traffic accident occurred on the D-100 highway in the direction of Ankara, near the Acıbadem location.
INJURED TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Upon notification, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The 5 people injured in 2 of the cars and an IETT bus were taken to the hospital after receiving initial intervention from medical personnel.
Traffic flow in the area, which was disrupted for a while, returned to normal after the damaged vehicles were removed from the road.
Meanwhile, the moment of the accident was recorded by the security camera of one of the IETT buses involved. The footage shows a speeding car hitting 2 vehicles in front of it, and the resulting collision of the swerving vehicles into 2 IETT buses.
