Horror in Konya: Man kills his ex-wife and daughter with a pump-action shotgun
A man killed his ex-wife and daughter in the Seydişehir district of Konya.
The incident occurred in the morning hours at an apartment on the 3rd floor of a 3-story building located on 154263 Street in the Ulukapı neighborhood.
According to allegations, Bekir Doğan arrived at the home where his ex-wife, Ayşe Gezer—the mother of his 3 children whom he divorced 3 months ago—and their daughter Gözdenur Doğan (19) were staying. Doğan opened fire on Ayşe Gezer and Gözdenur Doğan with a pump-action shotgun he had with him.
Ayşe Gezer and her daughter Gözdenur Doğan lost their lives at the scene.
The murder suspect, Bekir Doğan, surrendered to the police after the incident. While police teams arriving at the address conducted an investigation, the lifeless bodies of the mother and daughter were taken to the Seydişehir State Hospital morgue for autopsies.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
