IETT bus catches fire in Başakşehir
Flames suddenly erupted from the engine compartment of an IETT bus while it was in motion in Başakşehir.
The fire broke out around 20:00 in front of the Tümsan bus stop on Atatürk Boulevard in Başakşehir.
IT BURST INTO FLAMES SUDDENLY
The engine compartment of the IETT bus, which was in motion, suddenly began to burn for an unknown reason. Upon seeing the flames, the IETT driver evacuated the passengers on board. Police, medical, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene following reports. While police teams took security measures in the surrounding area, firefighters extinguished the blaze in a short time.
Teams have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
