Individual in Esenyurt wanders street by street, stabbing everyone in his path

In Esenyurt, an individual wandered from street to street, stabbing 10 people, including one woman. While the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment, the moment the attacker stabbed one person was captured on a business's security camera.

IDENTITY IDENTIFIED

Following the incident, teams from the Public Security Branch and the Esenyurt District Police Department launched an extensive investigation. As a result of the efforts, the attacker's identity was determined in a short time. Operations were initiated to capture the attacker, identified as Abdullah Ö.

APPREHENDED

Following the operations, teams from the Esenyurt District Police Department apprehended the attacker, Abdullah Ö. Investigations revealed that the attacker had stabbed and injured 10 people, including one woman, so far.

5 CRIMINAL RECORDS FOUND

It was learned that the attacker, who has 5 separate criminal records for various offenses, also threw stones at some houses after the stabbing spree. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

"HE STABBED MY LEG AND KEPT WALKING"

Describing what happened, one of the victims, Mehmet Üstel, stated, "An individual came toward me while I was walking. He pulled out a knife, a bread knife. At first, it looked like he was joking. He stabbed my leg and kept walking. I fell to the ground immediately. He is someone I have never met in my life. 9 people were attacked like this. He didn't say anything. He started at 09:30 in the morning, and he stabbed me at 13:30. The number of people he stabbed is unclear."

Hasan Karaca, the father of Çiğdem Karaca, who was injured by the attacker, said, "He stabs my child and tries to pull her bag. The shopkeepers there intervened and saved my child. He started stabbing in the morning. There may be others who went to different hospitals. He didn't say anything, he just stabbed directly. All the cases were like this anyway. My daughter is currently injured in her left leg."
