Minister Yerlikaya announced! 2 terrorists neutralized
It was announced that 2 terrorists were neutralized in the "Heroes-50" operation carried out in Diyarbakır.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that 2 terrorists, who were on the gray list, were neutralized in an operation carried out in the Lice district of Diyarbakır.
Yerlikaya stated, "The blood of our martyrs has not remained on the ground, and it will not. We will continue our struggle with determination, with your prayers and support, until the last terrorist is neutralized."
It was stated that one of the neutralized terrorists, Hasip Şimşek, was involved in many incidents, including the attack with a bomb-laden vehicle on the Elazığ Police Department and the martyrdom of 2 soldiers and 1 village guard in Diyarbakır.
It was noted that the other terrorist, Mehmet Akalan, was the perpetrator of actions such as the detonation of 6 IEDs in Diyarbakır and an attack on an armored police vehicle with hand grenades and pistols.
Yerlikaya congratulated the MIT and gendarmerie personnel who carried out the operation, saying, "Our struggle will continue with determination until the last terrorist is neutralized."
