Minister Yerlikaya announces: 3 organized crime group leaders captured, 2 wanted with Red Notices
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his X account that three organized crime leaders, two of whom were wanted with Red Notices, have been captured.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the "Kafes-21" operations on his X account.
Yerlikaya included the following statements in his announcement:
"3 organized crime group leaders, 2 of whom were wanted with Red Notices and 1 with a Diffusion Message (Urgent Capture Message), were captured in the KAFES-21 operations held in Alanya and Istanbul.
THOMAS JOSEF KONRAD: The leader of an organized crime group wanted by Interpol with a Red Notice for drug trafficking in Poland, who transported large quantities of drugs from Morocco to Italy and Spain and then shipped them in smaller quantities to other European countries, was captured in Alanya, Antalya.
JINKING PENG: The leader of an organization wanted by Interpol with a Red Notice for fraud and illegal organizational activities in China was captured in Fatih, Istanbul.
DANIEL ALEXANDER MULLER: The leader of an organized crime group wanted with a Diffusion Message (Urgent Capture Message—followed by the issuance of a Red Notice) as a fugitive suspect in an operation where 1 ton of cocaine was seized in Germany, was captured in Beyoğlu, Istanbul.
They were captured in the “KAFES-21” OPERATIONS organized by our Antalya and Istanbul Narcotics Crimes Combat Branch Directorates and our Migrant Smuggling and Border Gates Branch Directorates, under the coordination of our General Directorate of Security's Department of Anti-Narcotic Crimes."
