Minister Yerlikaya announces: 7 organized crime groups dismantled in 7 provinces
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on X that 7 organized crime groups were dismantled as part of the "Kafes-39" operations.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the Kafes-39 operations.
Yerlikaya stated the following:
"In the “KAFES-39” operations carried out simultaneously in 7 provinces;
The BUDAKLAR Organized Crime group in Istanbul, and
The groups led by Soner TAYYAR in Antalya,
Uğur ÖZGEN in Kocaeli,
Sadi YILDIRIM in Samsun,
Melik KORKUT in Bilecik,
Mürsel ÖZAĞDAŞ in Kars,
Bülent ŞİMŞEK in Konya, a total of 7 Organized Crime Groups were dismantled. 117 suspects, including the ringleaders, who were members of the Organized Crime Groups, were apprehended in the operations. The operations are ongoing!"
