Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced in a post on X that a foreign-linked organized crime group was dismantled as part of the "Kafes-36" operations conducted across 7 provinces.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the "Kafes-36" operations in a post on X.
Yerlikaya stated the following:
"In the 'KAFES-36' operations conducted simultaneously in 7 provinces centered in Tekirdağ, a foreign-linked organized crime group committing the crimes of qualified fraud, blackmail, and threats was dismantled!
18 suspects, including the leader of the organization and 7 foreign nationals, were apprehended in the operations!"
