Missiles fired by Iran at Israel hit a hospital
Mutual attacks between Israel and Iran are intensifying. As Tel Aviv sounds the alarm following Iran's new missile strikes, a hospital in Beersheba has been hit. The death toll in the region is rising.
Following the 'Rising Lion' attack launched by Israel against Iran on June 13, tensions in the region continue to escalate with each passing day. After new missile strikes by Iran, which responded to Israel's attack with retaliatory operations dubbed 'True Promise', sirens began to wail in Tel Aviv.
The Israel-based newspaper Haaretz reported that a hospital located in the south of the country was struck by a missile launched by Iran.
An official from the Israeli military stated that many missiles fired from Iran targeted civilian areas, including a hospital in the south.
Israel's emergency services reported that several buildings in Tel Aviv were also affected by the missiles.
The Qatar-based Al Jazeera television announced that the targeted hospital was the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.
Following the attack, videos and photos showing the damage to the hospital were shared on social media.
At least 224 people, including high-ranking military officials such as Iranian Chief of Staff Bagheri and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Salami, have been killed in Israel's attacks.
In its retaliation, in which it launched hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles in addition to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Iran targeted Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa.
At least 24 people have lost their lives in Israel due to missiles that bypassed Israel's 'Iron Dome' air defense system.
The mutual attacks continue into their seventh day.
