MOSSAD operation by MIT: 7 people detained
In a simultaneous operation conducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism branches in Istanbul and Izmir, 7 people were detained for allegedly selling information to MOSSAD indirectly.

ESPIONAGE NETWORK DISMANTLED
MIT determined that MOSSAD was tracking its targets in Turkey through private detectives.
The Israeli Intelligence Service was carrying out activities such as collecting biographical information, reconnaissance, investigation, photo/video documentation, live tracking, and installing tracking devices on its targets through private detectives.
Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 9 people linked to the Israeli Intelligence Service were identified.
These 9 people were selling the information they obtained in exchange for money to MOSSAD through private detectives.
34 DETAINED IN FIRST WAVE
An operation was recently carried out in 8 provinces, centered in Istanbul, against the Israeli Foreign Intelligence Service MOSSAD. In the operation, which was carried out in cooperation with the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the General Directorate of Security, 34 people were detained.
DETAILS OF THE OPERATION EMERGE
According to the information obtained, the simultaneous operations were carried out at addresses in the Menemen district of Izmir and in Istanbul.
The following statements were included in the announcement:
"As a result of the efforts to uncover the activities of the Israeli Foreign Intelligence Service MOSSAD in our country; a simultaneous operation was carried out on 02/02/2024 at addresses in Izmir-Menemen and Istanbul against a total of 9 suspects, consisting of individuals who were tracked and targeted by the Israeli intelligence service due to their opposition to Palestinian policy, and who were identified as transferring information obtained through detective activities—particularly involving law firm employees and personal connections—to members of the Israeli Intelligence Service regarding the tracking and recording of (6) Palestinian nationals. Two of these individuals (Seyit Ahmet Yurtseven and Musa Kuş) were previously arrested and are in prison as a result of earlier operations, while the other seven individuals had not been subject to legal proceedings before. 7 people were apprehended within the scope of the operations."
