Moment of shootout in Bilecik that left 1 dead and 1 injured caught on camera

The incident took place last night on Yıldız Street in the Gazipaşa neighborhood. Selami Kırmızıyıldız (25), who had a debt dispute with real estate agent Ali Mengütay in Bilecik, picked up Mengütay and his wife from their home in a vehicle with license plate 41 BS 929. Ali Mengütay's wife then activated the KADES application, prompting police to take action. Communicating with the police via the KADES application at that moment, Ali Mengütay's wife followed the instructions given to her by the teams one by one.

Ali Mengütay and his wife somehow convinced Selami Kırmızıyıldız to bring them back in front of their house. Having received information that Selami Kırmızıyıldız was armed, the teams began waiting in front of Ali Mengütay's house. When the vehicle pulled up in front of the house, police teams immediately took action. Upon seeing the police, Selami Kırmızıyıldız fired the weapon he was carrying at Ali Mengütay, who was inside the vehicle, wounding him in the arm. Meanwhile, the police fired at Selami Kırmızıyıldız, striking him in the chest. In the ensuing shootout, Selami Kırmızıyıldız lost his life at the scene, while the wounded Ali Mengütay was taken to Bilecik Training and Research Hospital by medical teams. Selami Kırmızıyıldız's lifeless body was taken to the morgue of the same hospital following the prosecutor's examination.

On the other hand, the police detained Ali Mengütay's wife, as well as Tuncay K. and Abdulvahit K., who were alleged to be involved in the incident.
