With only days left until the local elections, an operation targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's transportation services (IETT) has been uncovered.
ENTERED BREAKDOWN INFO AND WENT TO THE SHOOT
It was observed that a cast crew was formed to prepare a video claiming that a private public bus affiliated with IETT was far from its duty station and not on the job.
The investigation revealed that the bus operated in the Beykoz-Kavacık region, but on the day of the incident, the driver, acting on the vehicle owner's instructions, entered a 'breakdown' report into the system instead of starting his route, and went to the Eyüpsultan region where the set was established.
It was revealed that the vehicle owner received 15 thousand TL for this perception video, that they used fog effects in the footage, and that they filmed scenes of the vehicle being pushed. Following the emergence of the footage, the vehicle owner's license was revoked.
"IT'S THE AK PARTY'S JOB"
In the in-vehicle camera footage, it was seen that a person from the film crew asked the driver, 'You said the bus that went out was broken, right?' and the driver replied, 'That part is done.' Finally, it was heard that the person from the film crew referred to the shooting job as 'the AK Party's job'.
