Operation Cember-9 in 81 provinces: 2,842 fugitives captured

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya provided information regarding the Operation Cember-9, which has been ongoing for 3 days across 81 provinces.

Stating that a total of 2,842 wanted fugitives were captured, Yerlikaya included the following statements in his post:

How long the captured individuals have been wanted:

2,820 individuals wanted for 0-5 years,

14 individuals wanted for 5-10 years,

8 individuals wanted for 10 years or more were captured.

Crimes for which the captured individuals were wanted:

-199 individuals for theft,

-132 individuals for fraud,

-65 individuals for robbery,

-38 individuals for homicide,

-35 individuals for sexual offenses,

-480 individuals for narcotics offenses,

-43 individuals for terrorism,

-A total of 2,842 individuals, including 334 individuals for KOM (Smuggling, Organized Crime) and others, were captured in the “Cember-9” Operations.
