Schools have reopened, traffic congestion forms in Istanbul
With the end of the two-week mid-term break for primary and secondary education in Turkey, traffic congestion occurred in Istanbul in the early hours of the morning.
Approximately 20 million students and 1 million 178 thousand teachers in primary and secondary education institutions are returning to classes today following the two-week semester break.
With the reopening of schools, traffic congestion occurred on the E-5 Highway in the early hours of the morning. Traffic density is also being experienced at the E-5 Highway Haliç Bridge, the Mecidiyeköy direction, and the 15 Temmuz Şehitler Köprüsü area.
According to IMM data, traffic congestion in Istanbul was measured at 55 percent at 07:30.
