Suicide attempt in Ankara metro: 17-year-old child seriously injured!
A 17-year-old youth who threw themselves in front of a metro train at the Akköprü Metro Station in Ankara has been injured.
The incident occurred around 22:30 at the Akköprü Metro Station in the Gazi neighborhood of the Yenimahalle district.
According to the information received, a 17-year-old individual, whose name has not yet been learned, jumped in front of a metro train heading in the direction of Batıkent. Passengers were evacuated and metro services were halted.
Health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. The individual, who was extracted from the tracks by fire crews, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
It was learned that the youth's condition is critical.
