Terrifying moments on the highway! Moving vehicle engulfed in flames in Seyrantepe

A car caught fire while moving on the TEM Highway in the Seyrantepe section of Kağıthane. While the blazing vehicle was rendered unusable, the long queue of vehicles caused by the fire was captured from the air.

The fire occurred around 09:30 on the Ankara-bound direction of the TEM Highway in the Seyrantepe section.

According to the information obtained, smoke began to rise from the engine compartment of the car with license plate 34 EOK 100.

The driver, Taha Yüksel, stopped his vehicle in the emergency lane. At that moment, the fire in the engine compartment of the car suddenly grew and engulfed the entire vehicle. Upon notification, police teams arriving at the scene took precautions on the road to manage traffic flow, while fire crews intervened in the fire. As a result of the teams' efforts, the fire was brought under control and extinguished in a short time, while the vehicle was rendered unusable.
