They had clashed while playing okey: The grandfathers have reconciled
In the Milas district of Muğla, 73-year-old Celal Çoban and 76-year-old Nuri Tüfekçi, who had attacked and injured each other with cue sticks during a fight at an okey table in a coffeehouse, have reconciled.
One of four retired friends playing okey at a coffeehouse in Milas completed the game. At that moment, an argument broke out between Celal Çoban and Nuri Tüfekçi at the table. As the argument escalated, the parties attacked each other with cue sticks.

THEY HAD CLASHED
In the incident, Tüfekçi was injured in the head and Çoban in the eyebrow. The parties went to the police and filed complaints against each other.
Those moments were captured by the coffeehouse's security cameras. In the footage, two of the players at the table are seen hitting each other with cue sticks, while one of the other players gets up from the table and walks away, and the other continues to sit as if nothing had happened.
THE GRANDFATHERS RECONCILED
Following the footage of the fight shared on social media, AKP Milas mayoral candidate hopeful Barış Saylak brought the parties together at the same coffeehouse. After listening to the incident from both sides, Saylak requested that they reconcile. Celal Çoban then apologized to Tüfekçi.
The parties shook hands and hugged each other. While emotional moments were experienced, Tüfekçi could not hold back his tears. Those in the coffeehouse also supported the parties with applause. Tüfekçi and Çoban thanked Saylak for bringing them together.
