Tragic accident in Başakşehir
Four people lost their lives in an accident in Başakşehir when a vehicle lost control, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided with another car.
The accident occurred around 19:30 on Başakşehir Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard.
VEHICLES REDUCED TO WRECKAGE
According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 34 UB 7161, which was traveling in the direction of Arnavutköy, hit the median after the driver lost steering control. Due to the force of the impact, the vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and collided with the car with license plate 34 HRZ 561. The car with license plate 34 UB 7161, which came to a stop after hitting the barrier following the collision, was reduced to wreckage.
4 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
Upon notification, numerous fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Fire crews extracted the citizens trapped in the vehicle. Enes Durukan and Mehmet Bülbül lost their lives at the scene, while Muhammed Bülbül and Sudenaz Bülbül passed away at the hospital to which they were transported.
While the vehicles involved in the accident were removed from the scene with the help of a tow truck, the road was cleaned by officials and reopened to traffic.
