Training aircraft departing from Bursa crashes in Bilecik

According to the information received, the pilot of the training aircraft, D.K. (22), which took off from the airport in the Yenişehir district of Bursa in the morning hours, attempted to land in an empty field due to a technical malfunction when she reached the vicinity of the Dodurga town in the Bozüyük district of Bilecik.

During this process, the aircraft suffered a crash landing and flipped over. Local residents who witnessed the incident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Medical teams arriving at the scene provided initial intervention to the injured female pilot and transported her to Bozüyük State Hospital as a precaution.

While the Gendarmerie took extensive security measures at the crash site, it was learned that the pilot is in good health.
