'Vigil of respect' on the anniversary of the Kahramanmaraş earthquake
A 'vigil of respect' was held in Çankırı on the 1st anniversary of the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş on February 6.
Those who lost their lives in the 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes, which had their epicenter in the Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş and affected 11 provinces, were commemorated in Çankırı on the 1st anniversary of the disaster.
During the 'vigil of respect,' which is coordinated by the Çankırı Governorship, AFAD, and various institutions and will continue until 18:00 tomorrow, slides were watched and prayers were recited inside an AFAD tent.

The program was attended by Çankırı Governor Mustafa Fırat Taşolar, Provincial AFAD Director Ahmet Matur, Provincial Police Chief Yılmaz Delen, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Yusuf Mutlu Genç, various institution directors, and numerous citizens.
