Wanted by Interpol: Crime organization leader captured in Turkey

Yerlikaya stated the following:

With the "Kartel-3" operation carried out in Istanbul, Christijan Palić, one of the leaders of the "Western Balkan Wing" of an international drug cartel who was wanted by Interpol with a Blue Notice, was captured in Beşiktaş.

It was determined that the drug cartel leader spearheaded the procurement of cocaine from South America in cooperation with cartels operating in Europe, maintained connections with criminal organizations in South America, and played a significant role in laundering the proceeds of crime.

Croatian national Christijan Palić, who was reported by European countries to be among the leaders of the "Western Balkan Wing" within the scope of drug operations conducted in Europe, was wanted by an Interpol Blue Notice issued by European countries and Brazil.

Under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security, Christijan Palić, who was placed under international surveillance by our Istanbul Narcotics Crimes Combat Branch, Intelligence Branch, and Migrant Smuggling and Border Gates Branch Directorates, was captured in Beşiktaş during the Kartel-3 operation.
