Was Ayşegül Eraslan's death a murder? Her friend Semih Palancı has been detained

A suspicious development has occurred regarding the death of social media influencer and fashion designer Ayşegül Eraslan. Semih Palancı has alleged that Eraslan's death was a murder, claiming that it was being staged to look like a suicide.

Palancı asserted that the handwriting in the note Eraslan shared on social media did not belong to her, stating that there are strong suspicions that her death was a murder.

"THE HANDWRITING WAS NOT HERS"

In his statement, Semih Palancı said: "Ayşegül Eraslan was found dead in her home. The handwriting in the note she shared was not hers. Furthermore, we believe that the death is being made to look like a suicide. We provided information to the police to have this incident investigated. We waited for the autopsy report, and the autopsy revealed that her wrists were cut, she was strangled, and she was hanged. This is a murder staged to look like a suicide."

FOUND DEAD IN HER HOME

Ayşegül Eraslan was found dead in her home in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul. Shortly before her death, she had shared a note on her social media account that read, "There will be things I couldn't share, things you don't know, things I didn't tell you. All I know is that I was a very good person. I never did any harm to anyone."

In another post, a bloody note was shared that read, "I am sensitive, or life is truly bad. All I want is for you to take good care of my dogs. I always valued people in life. I also apologize to my father. In this life, I never saw the love of a mother or a father; I grew up with a lot of violence."

PALANCI DETAINED

Following his raising of murder allegations, Semih Palancı was detained on charges of "publicly disseminating misleading information."
