Statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: "We view the Israel-Palestine tension with deep concern"
The world's eyes are on the Israel-Hamas tension. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, it was stated, "We view the violence and tension occurring in Israel and Palestine with deep concern."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement regarding the latest developments in Israel and Palestine.
The statement included the following:
"We view the violence and tension occurring in Israel and Palestine today (October 7) with deep concern.
We attach great importance to the restoration of calm in the region as soon as possible and strongly condemn the loss of civilian lives.
We emphasize that acts of violence and the resulting escalations will not benefit anyone, and we call on the parties to act with restraint and refrain from impulsive steps.
As Türkiye, we are always ready to provide whatever contribution we can to ensure that these developments are brought under control before they escalate further and spread to a wider area. In this direction, we are continuing our contacts with the relevant parties intensively.
These sad developments once again demonstrate the importance of the two-state solution vision. We invite the parties to abandon the use of force and to work for a lasting solution in line with this vision without further delay."
