Were the October 29 Republic Day events cancelled following the TUSAŞ attack?

Following the terrorist attack yesterday on the TUSAŞ facilities located in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara, there was curiosity regarding whether the October 29 celebrations would take place. It has been announced that the events have been cancelled in Ankara.

EVENTS CANCELLED IN ANKARA

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality announced that the October 29 Republic Day events have been cancelled due to the terrorist attack. 

The announcement stated, "Due to the treacherous terrorist attack that occurred in our Kahramankazan district, all events to be held within the scope of Republic Day have been cancelled. We wish God's mercy upon our martyrs and a speedy recovery to our wounded," it was stated.

No announcements have been made yet regarding the cancellation of October 29 events in provinces outside of Ankara due to the TUSAŞ attack.
