In the incident that has become a trending topic on social media, parents and students allege that the core of the issue involves a group of 9th-grade male students who prepared a 507-item list about the school's female students.

It is claimed that the list contained sexually explicit, derogatory, and humiliating expressions, as well as discourse regarding harassment, sexual assault, profanity, and violent comments.

It is alleged that the scandal spread throughout the school after one student from within the group became uncomfortable with the situation.

In statements shared by students, it was noted: "We would like to state that the reality of the incident is a much more serious and systematic violation of privacy and a collection of behaviors involving harassment. It has emerged that in recent weeks, a group of 9th-grade male students at the school prepared a list of over 500 items in their rooms containing sexually explicit, derogatory, and disturbing expressions about female students and various other individuals at the school, and that they regularly shared this list with other students."

Furthermore, "Allegations have also surfaced that the same group used card-cloning methods to access lower floors of the school without authorization, entered the camera room without permission, and attempted to access footage belonging to the female dormitory. Additionally, it has been determined that some female students were secretly photographed and archived in hallways and the cafeteria," the statements added.

A parent speaking on the matter said, "We do not support violence, but the upperclassmen got involved in such an incident to protect their younger peers. My daughter says, 'Mom, I feel uncomfortable even walking at school now, wondering if someone will take a photo or if they are thinking other things.'"

It is alleged that the beaten students also shared a photo that same night, using the caption, "Lions when they rape IEL (Istanbul High School)."
