When is the Erdoğan-Trump meeting?
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that efforts are underway for a possible meeting between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and US President Donald Trump.
Speaking at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made important assessments regarding the current agenda.
Fidan announced that work is ongoing regarding a possible meeting between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and US President Donald Trump.
Stating that the details of the meeting have not yet been finalized, Fidan said, "There is nothing finalized at the moment, our work continues. Whether the meeting will take place in Turkey or in America... These are issues that are still being worked on."
SYRIA AGENDA
Minister Fidan also made statements regarding a possible visit Erdoğan might make to Syria. Stating that preparations on this matter are continuing, Fidan said, "(Erdoğan's visit to Syria) In general, such an intention exists; we are working on the appropriate conditions, date, and ground."
