While sitting with her family, she went to the next room and shot herself

The incident occurred in the Üsküdar neighborhood of the Özburun town in the Bolvadin district. According to allegations, a woman named Gaye Solmaz (24) went to another room in the house while sitting in the living room with her husband and family members, and fired a shotgun after holding it to her abdomen. 

Family members who saw Solmaz covered in blood called the 112 Emergency Call Center to request help. Upon the report, medical teams arrived at the scene and transported the young woman to the hospital by ambulance. However, Solmaz could not be saved despite the intervention performed there and lost her life.

POSSIBILITY OF SUICIDE IS BEING INVESTIGATED

Following the incident, the statements of the individuals named R.T., A.T., S.A., G.T., and R.T., who were in the house, were taken by the gendarmerie, and teams are focusing on the possibility that the young woman may have committed suicide.

It was reported that the investigation initiated by the prosecutor's office regarding the incident is ongoing.
