While the tragic news of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing in Diyarbakır, has plunged Turkey into mourning, it has been reported that four siblings have gone missing in the Midyat district of Mardin. Former HDP MP Mehmet Ali Aslan has called for urgent search and rescue efforts to locate the missing siblings.
While the entire country of Turkey is in mourning following the discovery of the lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran yesterday, who had been missing since August 21 in Diyarbakır, another case of missing children has been reported.
Former HDP MP Mehmet Ali Aslan announced in a statement on his social media account that there has been no word for some time from four siblings living in the Ziyaret neighborhood of Mardin's Midyat district.
The missing siblings were identified as Muhammet (15), Sibel (14), Münir (9), and İdris (8).
Aslan emphasized that search and rescue teams and technical resources must be urgently mobilized to find the siblings.
