WHO IS MARCO RUBIO?

Marco Rubio was born on May 28, 1971, in Miami, Florida. His father, Mario Rubio Reina, and his mother, Oriales (Garcia) Rubio, emigrated from Cuba to the US in 1956, before Fidel Castro came to power. When Marco Rubio was born, his parents were not yet US citizens; they obtained citizenship in 1975. Growing up in Miami, Rubio graduated from the University of Florida in 1993 and completed his law degree at the University of Miami School of Law in 1996.

MARCO RUBIO'S CAREER
