Businessman Bülent Yaşar, the son of Yenimahalle Mayor Fethi Yaşar, has passed away at the age of 51 in the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş shared a message regarding the loss, stating, "I learned with great sadness of the passing of Bülent Yaşar, the son of our Yenimahalle Mayor, Mr. Fethi Yaşar. I wish patience for our mayor Fethi Yaşar, his family, and his loved ones during this difficult time, and I share in their grief. I pray for God's mercy upon Bülent Yaşar. My condolences to us all."
It was announced that Bülent Yaşar will be laid to rest in the Sandıklı district of Afyon on Monday, March 31, following the afternoon prayer.
It has emerged that Yaşar had been receiving treatment for liver failure for some time.
