Woman who went missing in Diyarbakır rescued by AFAD teams
42-year-old Ayfer Y., who went missing in the Dicle district of Diyarbakır, was found alive as a result of search efforts conducted by AFAD and the gendarmerie.
Relatives of Ayfer Y., who lived in the rural Baltacı neighborhood of the district and was reported to have mental health issues, notified the gendarmerie after they had not heard from her since yesterday afternoon.

Upon receiving the report, teams from the AFAD Diyarbakır Provincial Directorate launched a search operation in the area.

As a result of the search, which also involved the participation of the gendarmerie and local citizens, Ayfer Y. was found in the rural area of the village around noon today.

Ayfer Y., whose condition was determined to be good following a check by medical teams, was handed over to her relatives.
