Woman who harassed many people in Istanbul has been caught

A woman who entered various shops in different neighborhoods of Istanbul posing as a customer and harassed male employees caused a major stir on social media with footage captured by security cameras. In incidents occurring in districts such as Bayrampaşa, Avcılar, and Ümraniye, the woman entered shops under the pretext of selling products and made various irrelevant and unwanted advances toward male employees.

It is alleged that the suspect, who faced reactions from employees, occasionally used verbal insults and, in some businesses, attempted to force her way inside. The events were recorded thanks to workplace cameras. In the recorded footage, moments where male employees warn her by saying, "Don't touch me, will you please leave," are clearly visible.

The incidents first came to light in Ümraniye, but it soon emerged that the same woman had been acting in a similar manner in different parts of Istanbul. According to eyewitness accounts, the woman usually enters workplaces saying, "I am a student, I am selling cologne," and attempts to engage with the employees. However, this approach, which begins under the guise of selling products, often continued with non-consensual attempts at physical contact.

Finally, it was reported that a similar incident occurred in İkitelli and that the suspect harassed a male employee there as well.
