Following the 5.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Kale district of Malatya, a dust cloud formed on the mountain in the Tillo region of Gerger district in Adıyaman. Those who captured the dust cloud with their mobile phone cameras said that this situation worried them.

On the other hand, field operations are continuing following the 5.9 magnitude earthquake. The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that, as of now, there is no loss of life or property following the 5.9 magnitude earthquake that occurred at 10:46 in the Kale district of Malatya.

In the statement made by AFAD, it was noted that there is currently no loss of life or property following the 5.9 magnitude earthquake, that teams are on alert, and that field scanning operations are continuing.

AFAD Earthquake Department Head Prof. Dr. Aykut Akgün stated that aftershocks of the earthquake may continue and warned that "citizens should not enter damaged buildings."
