X account of soL Haber with 924 thousand followers blocked in Turkey

The access ban decision regarding the X account of soL Haber, which has 924 thousand followers, has been implemented. It was reported that the account, which had previously been subject to an access ban decision under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651 on the grounds of "protection of national security and public order," has been closed to users in Turkey by the X platform.

With the implementation of the decision, the X account of soL Haber has become inaccessible from Turkey.

ACCESS BAN IMPLEMENTED BY X

Following the access ban decision, the measure was carried out by the X platform. Thus, the soL Haber account was added to the list of accounts that cannot be accessed from within the borders of Turkey.

In line with the decision, while the account became invisible to users in Turkey, it was stated that the access ban application was based on the grounds of "protection of national security and public order" within the scope of Article 8/A of Law No. 5651.
