Yeni Şafak increases the dose of its criticism against Mehmet Şimşek: 'Endure if you can, Ali Cabbar'

Yeni Şafak newspaper, a publication of the Albayrak Group known for its proximity to the government, has increased the dose of its criticism regarding the economic policies of Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek. In an article published in the newspaper titled "Endure if you can, Ali Cabbar!", it was argued that society is being crushed under economic pressures, producers are exhausted, and the effects of inflation are being underestimated.

EMPHASIS ON SOCIAL TENSION AND LOSS OF HOPE

The article stated that while the economic program continues, there is a serious sense of hopelessness in society, and included the following expressions:

"As the clouds of economic uncertainty cover all segments, the desire to produce and the hope for the future are falling along with inflation, despite the functioning program."

BOTH PRODUCERS AND CITIZENS ARE SQUEEZED

The article summarized the situation faced by producers and citizens, who are directly affected by the economy, with these words:

"The producer feels increasingly worthless, and the citizen needs more than an abacus while calculating for their most basic needs."

INTEREST AND CREDIT POLICIES ARE AT THE FOCUS OF CRITICISM

In the Yeni Şafak article, the program implemented by the economic management was targeted with the following words:

At the end of the article, Yeni Şafak drew attention to the social as well as the economic role of the real sector and used the following expressions:  

"It should not be forgotten that the real sector represents not only production but also employment, regional development, and most importantly, social peace. Every business that closes leaves behind not just an economic, but a social void."
