Yeniden Refah Party to enter local elections with its own candidates and logo

Fatih Erbakan, Chairman of the Yeniden Refah Party (YRP), a partner in the People's Alliance, spoke at the local election candidate introduction meeting.

Regarding local election alliance negotiations, Erbakan said, "There have been requests for Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir. We are holding consultations on this matter." Regarding provinces and districts other than Ankara, Izmir, and Istanbul, Erbakan stated, "In provinces and districts outside of these, the YRP will participate in the elections with its own candidates and its own logo."

"MINIMUM WAGE SHOULD BE RAISED TO THE 23 THOUSAND LEVEL"

Erbakan also said, "It is stated that the poverty line is at 50 thousand lira and the minimum wage is at 15 thousand lira. In this situation, a minimum wage of 14 thousand 700 lira is not sufficient. It is said that a raise of around 36-37 percent will be made. However, it is not possible for a one-time raise at this rate to be sufficient. At the very least, when 2 minimum wages enter a household, the family should reach the poverty line. Furthermore, support and incentives should be provided to employers to ensure that workers achieve prosperity. In this direction, the minimum wage should be raised to the 23 thousand level."

The points emphasized in Erbakan's speech are as follows:

"Other political parties that claim to govern Turkey have failed to present a new and clean understanding of municipalism. In this election, the National View (Milli Görüş) is coming to the fore significantly with the Yeniden Refah Party. We no longer have to choose the lesser of two evils.

The rent-seeking, statue-focused, and organization-based understandings of municipalism have completed their lifespan. The cadres who do not aim for positions and numbers, but engage in politics for the sake of Allah, the National View and the Yeniden Refah Party, are the only solution."
