Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that legal action has been initiated against account managers who made provocative posts on social media regarding the forest fires breaking out across the country.
Minister Yerlikaya stated that investigations conducted by the Department of Combating Cyber Crimes revealed that some accounts on social media platforms shared provocative content regarding the forest fires in İzmir and other provinces.
According to the statement by Interior Minister Yerlikaya, the necessary legal proceedings have been initiated against the 20 account managers who made provocative posts.
The Ministry of Interior announced that efforts to combat cyber crimes will continue and that there will be an effective fight against such actions.
