Young man who traveled from Turkey to Germany illegally speaks out: No one noticed the fake documents
A young man who traveled from Turkey to Germany illegally stated that those seeking asylum like him during his departure process were able to do so very easily and were very bold about it.
The political and economic crises in Turkey are further increasing the desire of the younger generation to realize their dreams of settling in a different country. So, what do those seeking asylum from Turkey actually experience?
Speaking to Hakan Erol from Artı49, 'Ahmet' explained that the human smuggler brought him right into Sabiha Gökçen Airport with great ease.
Stating that "the chances of getting caught in Turkey are lower," Ahmet said, "They are not afraid at all. Either they are very brave, or I don't know anymore."
SMUGGLERS OFFER PACKAGES IN EVERY STYLE DESIRED
Saying that he paid a 500 Euro deposit and gave a total of 6,500 Euros to the human smugglers, "Ahmet" stated that he called his family once he entered Germany and paid the remaining amount to the smugglers in this way. Noting that the system works this way, "Ahmet" stated that this journey took a total of 3 days. Stating that he left Turkey with a fake Dominican Republic visa, "Ahmet" said the human smuggler brought him to Sabiha Gökçen Airport comfortably, adding, "They believed me when I was leaving Istanbul, they were convinced, I made it as far as Spain, but of course, I didn't go to the Dominican Republic."
"Ahmet" also said that human smugglers put whatever type of package you want in front of you, stating, "There is a package, and that package takes you all the way to France."
"SPANISH POLICE USED FORCE"
"Ahmet," who also recounted falling into a group as soon as he landed in Spain, said, "I learned that two people were getting off every plane there. We became 30 people in a short time." Stating that everyone who got off the plane was Turkish and was there to seek asylum, "Ahmet" also expressed that the Spanish police treated them poorly and used force.
"Ahmet" said, "The police took us to the lowest floor of the airport; it was a dark room. They collected our phones, took our passports and the fake Dominican visas we had in our hands," adding, "You have to seek asylum here, otherwise we will lock you up; you cannot travel around the country illegally. I was forced to seek asylum."
