'YPG' statements create tension between DEM Party and MHP: 'There is a game within a game'

The first crack in the ongoing positive relations between the MHP and the DEM Party following Öcalan's call to 'dissolve the PKK' emerged due to the remarks by DEM Party's Hatimoğulları, who stated, "The YPG is not mentioned anywhere in the text."

Following Öcalan's call for disarmament, the rapprochement between the MHP and the DEM Party had increased, and mutual positive messages had been exchanged. Whether the call covers the PYD/YPG, the Syrian branch of the PKK, has sparked debates in the public eye.

Speaking after Öcalan's call, DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları's words, "The YPG is not mentioned anywhere in the text," caused discomfort within the MHP.

HATİMOĞULLARI: YPG IS NOT MENTIONED

Following Öcalan's call, Hatimoğulları had used the expressions, "This call is quite clear and explicit. The YPG is not mentioned anywhere in the text."

HARSH REACTION FROM MHP TO DEM PARTY

A reaction to Hatimoğulları's remarks regarding the YPG came from MHP Chairman's Press Advisor Yıldıray Çiçek. Çiçek brought this issue to the agenda in his article in Türkgün, which is known for its proximity to the MHP.

"THERE IS A GAME WITHIN A GAME"

Regarding Hatimoğulları's statement, Çiçek said the following:

Tülay Hatimoğulları, whose side are you on? The US or Israel?

“While Israel is in a great panic in the face of the PKK entering a process of disarmament and dissolution, where does DEM Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları stand in this panic?

A panicked activity seems to have begun on the Israeli front. While Zionist Netanyahu makes statements aimed at protecting the terrorist organization YPG under the mask of 'Syrian Kurds must be protected,' it is also noteworthy that Israel has opened a Turkish-language page, which it announced as, 'Welcome to the official X account of the Israel Defense Forces! This platform will be used to provide reliable and instant updates regarding developments related to the IDF.'

All these developments show that Israel is also preparing for black propaganda and aims to keep its supporters in Turkey active. There is a game within a game, but Turkey will disrupt these games.”
