In Samsun, Yunus police officers persuaded a 16-year-old girl who was attempting suicide on the railings of a bridge over a river.
The incident occurred on the Mert River Bridge in the Yeni Neighborhood of Samsun's Canik district.
According to the information obtained, a 16-year-old girl identified as S.Y., who had fallen into a state of depression, attempted suicide on the bridge railings.
Upon receiving the report, motorcycle-mounted Yunus police officers from the Samsun Police Department arrived at the scene in a short time and persuaded S.Y. to abandon her suicide attempt. S.Y. was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
