Zafer Party Spokesperson Azmi Karamahmutoğlu: 'The editor of the PKK's statement is Ömer Çelik'

The terrorist organization PKK announced the decisions of its so-called congress held on May 5-7 and declared that they have dissolved themselves.

In the separatist terrorist organization's final declaration, the Treaty of Lausanne, which is the title deed of the Republic of Turkey, was targeted.

Zafer Party Spokesperson Azmi Karamahmutoğlu made statements regarding the agenda at a press conference held at his party's headquarters.

Speaking about the PKK's dissolution statement, Karamahmutoğlu used harsh expressions.

As of today, May 12, we are holding the Zafer Party's weekly regular press conference. We are on the 112th day of the imprisonment of our Chairman, Mr. Ümit Özdağ, in Silivri Prison. Our Chairman, who is about to complete his 4th month, is being held in Silivri Prison, having been removed from politics through the judiciary.

Ümit Özdağ was removed from politics to push aside the social opposition he would create against the new 'opening' betrayal process initiated six months ago. Now, as of today, we hope that the statement made by the PKK narco-terrorist organization has eliminated some of the justifications for our Chairman being held in prison by the relevant parties. If your bargaining with the PKK is over, can we now demand the release of our Chairman, Mr. Ümit Özdağ, who has been deprived of his freedom and removed from politics? His hearing will be held again on June 11.

PKK'S STATEMENT ON LAYING DOWN ARMS

Today, as of May 12, the expected statement has arrived. A meal that had long been cooked was served to the public, and the PKK announced its decision to disperse, close down, abolish, and dissolve itself.

Remember, in this process announced by Devlet Bahçeli on October 22, it was supposedly being discussed that the PKK narco-terrorist organization would close itself down and dissolve unilaterally, without any bargaining or mutual give-and-take. When we said this was not the case and opposed the bargaining, we were subjected to various accusations.

"THE EDITOR OF THE PKK'S STATEMENT IS ÖMER ÇELİK"

After today's statement was made, we see that the editing of this statement was done by AKP Government Spokesperson Ömer Çelik. We understand from the information note that Ömer Çelik passed to the press after this statement that the editor of the press release made by the PKK is Ömer Çelik. I will explain what this editing is and what he edited in the later stages of my speech. Moreover, this situation will also be reflected in the press.

In the PKK's statement, the Treaty of Lausanne, which is the title deed of the Republic of Turkey, and its first constitution, the 1924 Constitution, were shown as the source of the reasons that gave birth to it, and while the PKK terrorist organization showed Lausanne as a justification for engaging in terrorism, taking up arms, and declaring war on the Turkish people and the Turkish state — while showing Lausanne, which is Turkey's founding document, and the 1924 Constitution — this statement made can be met with enthusiasm and applause by the People's Alliance government.

Dear Turkish public, we have been saying the same things since this solution process, this betrayal process, this bargaining process began as the Zafer Party. Since 1984, for exactly 40 years, we have opposed PKK terrorism and the political demands of PKK terrorism, ever since the day the Eruh and Şemdinli attacks began. That is, we stood against PKK terrorism and its political demands.

Despite this, they accused us of opposing a Turkey without the PKK, a Turkey without terrorism. And those who made this accusation — while we were opposing the existence of the PKK from the very first day — are now the ones who were actually approaching PKK terrorism and its existence with understanding. Those who tried to justify it, to seek legitimacy in PKK terrorism, are the ones who are accusing us today; those who accuse us by asking, "Are you against a Turkey without terrorism?"

However, while we undoubtedly demand a Turkey without terrorism, a Turkey without terrorist organizations, a Turkey without crime, a Turkey without crime organizations; a Turkey where not only political but also mafia-like crime organizations do not exist, what we wanted was for this to be unconditional. That is, while wanting a Turkey without mafia crime organizations, no concessions or compromises can be given to the mafia crime organization in return for this, of course; we will not give any. Likewise, while wanting a Turkey without terrorism and without a terrorist organization, no response should be given to any political demand of the terrorist organization. This is our concern, our intention. What has been inflicted on Turkey since October 22, for the last 6 months, is the embarrassment created by the fact that some of the political demands of the separatist terrorism that has abandoned the name PKK will be met, and that this give-and-take bargaining has been conducted in secret.

"ZAFER PARTY WILL NOT CONSENT TO THIS"

For 6 months, the People's Alliance government has been experiencing this embarrassment. And we are pulling down the veil and mask on its face. This is precisely why our Chairman, Mr. Ümit Özdağ, has been held prisoner in the dungeons of Silivri for 4 months. They want us to consent to the bargaining table that will divide the sovereignty of the Turkish nation.

The Zafer Party will not consent to this. Since the day the negotiation and bargaining with the PKK, initiated with Devlet Bahçeli's announcement on October 22 last year, was announced, we have frequently explained that this policy of surrender is not the policy of the MHP, nor the AKP, nor even Ankara, but of other places — the outside. The stage we have reached today, this process which was supposedly ended with the announcement made by the PKK narco-terrorist organization and initiated with Devlet Bahçeli's announcement; what we are experiencing is neither the policy of the Nationalist Movement Party, nor the Justice and Development Party, nor the policy of our capital, Ankara. Indeed, we can easily understand from the statements made by the DEM Party and the PKK that it is not a policy produced by the People's Alliance government itself.

When the process is supposedly coming to an end, we look at who the DEM Party thanked in its thank-you speech. They are thanking Abdullah Öcalan, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. They are thanking Devlet Bahçeli and Özgür Özel. Now, why does the PKK thank the People's Alliance government and the leader of the main opposition party while dissolving itself?

If it has made a decision on its own to dissolve itself, why does it thank its political rivals? What is the reason for this gratitude? What has it received, and in return for what is it thanking? What does the satisfaction and gratitude of the PKK's ethnic separatist politics stem from?

What have they achieved that they are so grateful, so satisfied? And you, oh People's Alliance government, what did you give, what did you make the PKK and PKK politics and its representative organizations on the other side of the table gain? All these questions will be revealed with the new constitution trap you will impose on Turkey. You may be hiding it today.

But tomorrow, when you bring the new constitution trap before the voters, the citizens, all these traps and calculations you have set will be revealed. That is when we will settle scores with you again, before the citizens and at the ballot box.

Look at Syria... In Syria, while it had a singular structure under its previous secular structure, the Assad regime, the Baath regime — that is, an Arab nationalist, secular administration — today there is a shattered Syria again under an Arab nationalist, sharia-based regime. There is a multi-part Syria. There is a Syria divided into four and even five. In Syria, the PKK-YPG-PYD terrorist structure will gain legitimacy and Turkey will recognize this structure. There is only one name to be erased: PKK.

That is, it has dropped the name PKK, but it continues its existence in Syria with its other names, and will continue its existence. Moreover, by establishing a garrison statelet for itself — this is under the name of autonomy, self-governance, or a federation that has not been named — the trend in Syria is in this direction. The fact that all of this will happen without the name PKK being mentioned is a fact known by all Turkish political actors. However, the People's Alliance is choosing to deceive and mislead the voter.

According to what is shared by sources close to the PKK, among the things to be done are: those who are members of the organization but have not been involved in incidents — those who are members of the organization but have not been involved in incidents, their number is around three thousand five hundred — will be released. That is, they will not be subjected to any accusations or punishment for being a member of the organization. However, being a member of an organization is a crime. That is, being a member of a terrorist organization like the PKK is a crime. Here, those who are members of the organization but have not been involved in any terrorist attack will be considered innocent.

On the other hand, it is being discussed that those who have been involved in a terrorist attack but are not members of the organization will also be left unpunished through some execution practices. That is, both those who have been involved in a terrorist attack and those who have not will remain unpunished. By making up excuses for some because they are members of the organization and for others because they are not; in this way, step by step, we are moving towards an amnesty that will actually expand more and more with this execution regulation.

Yes, these execution regulations are moving towards an amnesty that will also cover terrorist crimes. Along with this, it is said that the number of high-level PKK executives could reach up to 300. It is stated that they will go to and be settled in European countries, especially Scandinavian countries, and that no voice will be raised against this. These hundreds of high-level PKK narco-terrorist organization executives who will leave will continue to manage both the narcotics traffic and PKK politics from the countries they go to.

Just as the PKK executives currently in European Union countries are still directing the narcotics traffic and PKK politics there through the tasks they give each other under the names of various organizations they have structured themselves; now, the executives in Qandil, numbering close to three hundred, from the very top down, will continue to do the same in the European Union. We will experience the trouble and the problem in Turkey. But as they have done until today, we will not hold any of them accountable for what they have done. Because the number of people they killed was not 1.

The number of people they killed was measured in the tens of thousands. It is a known saying, attributed to Stalin. It is claimed to have been said by a German journalist.

He says: "The death of one person is a tragedy, but the death of ten thousand people is a statistic."

Those who cried tragically last week at the Atatürk Cultural Center over the death of one person have now applauded the message of the one who created the statistic — those who caused the death of tens of thousands. They did not see the message that came under that tragedy as one by one, ten thousand, fifty thousand tragedies, but saw them as statistics and applauded this.

"WASN'T THERE ANY BARGAINING?"

They will live in Europe without undergoing any trial, without accounting for the murders they committed. Yet, wasn't there any bargaining? There was no bargaining. Now, in the statements made down to their residential addresses, we see that these issues are being discussed. These are being processed. Supposedly, it was not done during the negotiations. Yet, the general amnesty that will be issued under the name of execution regulations will also cover the founding leader of the PKK — the baby killer. And the Imralı High-Security Prison and Execution Institution, where he is currently serving his sentence, will be Abdullah Öcalan's honeymoon island, his work office.

The People's Alliance can stomach this and expects the Turkish people to stomach it too. There was no bargaining, is that so? The PKK was laying down its arms on its own, dissolving itself, is that so? Another statement coming from the DEM Party is that two stages have been passed and the third stage has been reached.

We learn this from the mouth of DEM MP Pervin Buldan. Pervin Buldan says, "The status that Kurds have achieved in Syria will also exist in Turkey." We turn and look at the status that Kurds have achieved in Syria: A security unit of their own, an armed group they call an army, an autonomous administration, a geographical piece they manage themselves, and a community of people cut off from the main whole.

The status in Syria is a structure that is running step by step towards a separate state; from autonomy to a federal structure, and from there to a separate state. Currently, Pervin Buldan, who is an MP for the DEM Party, which was established according to the Law on Political Parties in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, says this clearly in this way: "The status that Kurds have achieved in Syria will also exist in Turkey," she says. And the judiciary does not lift a finger, no one says anything.

But the same judiciary, the same prosecutor's office; opens lawsuits and investigations against the Zafer Party and Zafer Party members. Syria, dear listeners, is now a multi-part country. What is understood from Pervin Buldan's statement is that this is what awaits Turkey.

Articles 42 and 66 of the Constitution are the discussions that will be addressed first. This is what we understand from the information leaked from the bargaining table. In Article 42, demands for education in languages other than Turkish as a continuation of this will come in a pressured way. In Article 66, it is the definition of the "Turkish Nation" that defines the citizens of the Republic of Turkey, which we consider to be of vital value as a great achievement of the Turkish Nation in Anatolia — which we accept as such and which we can only lose by paying vital prices. We see that this is targeted in Article 66.

Decentralization leading towards autonomy, self-governance, and self-rule; a trap that will continue under the name of "strengthening local governments" is also placed inside the statement. However, while all these are being torn away from us piece by piece, a path is being followed in this way so that the voter, the citizen, does not notice. However, it is seen that a total new constitution preparation is being made by the interlocutors who have no time and want to hurry.

Yes, what awaits Turkey is a new constitution debate. Indeed, we see from the latest statements and posts of Mehmet Uçum, a lawyer employed in the Presidency and tasked with the new constitution work — supposedly we are waiting for a statement from the President for this — that Mehmet Uçum, whom he employs as an advisor there, says in his latest statement that the establishment of the Republic of Turkey has not been completed, that it is not finished, and states that the establishment of the Republic of Turkey will be completed with the new constitution to be made. We will continue to talk about and discuss Mehmet Uçum's statement that "The establishment of the Republic of Turkey will be completed with the new constitution to be made" more. We are waiting for a statement from the Justice and Development Party and its chairman regarding this.

Dear Turkish public, the PKK is a terrorist organization that has been defeated many times by Turkish security forces. In 2002, when the AKP government took office, terrorist acts based on ethnic separatism had completely ended in Turkey and the terrorist organization was experiencing a process of dissolution. With the wrong opening and negotiation policy of the AKP government, the PKK has regrouped itself.

Now, since there is no path left to take with weapons, through terrorism; since the distance to be covered through terrorism has been covered, ethnic chauvinism has decided to continue the rest of the way with politics. This decision is a decision taken by the owners of the PKK: "This far with weapons, with terrorism; the rest of the way will now be continued with politics," this is a decision taken by the owners of the PKK.

After the owners of the PKK narco-terrorist organization decided that the PKK should now move to a new phase, the terrorist organization has only then taken the decision to dissolve. There is no need for the Republic of Turkey to make any concessions or compromises from its own sovereignty in return for this decision to abolish and disperse. Because the political demands that will weaken our sovereignty — that is, concessions, compromises — are in reality the political demands of the owners who have fed and kept the PKK narco-terrorist organization alive to this day. They are the political demands of imperialism. No concessions will be made.

"TERRORISM IS NOT ENDING, IT IS ONLY CHANGING SHAPE"

No concessions or compromises will be made either by the Turkish State or by the Turkish Nation. Because terrorism is not ending, it is only changing shape. The PKK is openly declaring that it will continue its existence under other names, with new tactics, with new methods.

The Republic of Turkey, founded with the National Struggle waged against imperialism, is in a much better state today than the conditions of 1919, it is in a much stronger state. That is precisely why Turkey and the Turkish Nation will not bow down to the colonial demands that imperialism demands through the PKK. If they cannot find collaborators among us, from within us, they will not be able to remove even a single brick from the Fortress of Turkishness in Anatolia.

Fortunately, both the base and the voters of the ruling party, the AKP; and the voter base of the MHP, fortunately, are opposing this give-and-take bargaining. They are opposing it. They are opposing it to a large extent. And again, fortunately, the Republican People's Party voters are also largely opposing the division of the sovereignty of Republican Turkey.

That is, if these regulations that will be brought before us are not hidden from the people and passed in parliament with a fait accompli, with a new constitution; if they are brought to the people, if the ballot box is put before the people, the Turkish voter will not consent to this. When the Presidential Government Model referendum was being held, we were the ones who took to the roads, campaigning for "no". We had campaigned for "no". But we could not convince the Turkish voter enough. It had come out as "yes" by a small margin.

Now, the People's Alliance government, which welcomes the PKK's statement with applause and enthusiasm, is at work again — just as it was on that day. And it will package the expressions in the PKK statement that it applauded, which target Lausanne and the 1924 Constitution, as a "new constitution" and bring it before the voter.

That is when we will take to the roads again. We will appear before the Turkish voter again. Please, this time, let us not make the same mistakes over and over again as in the Presidential Government Model referendum. The Turkish voter should not make these mistakes that center on the AKP over and over again. Turkey and the Turkish Nation have not been defeated in the face of separatist terrorism.

What is defeated, what is beaten; is the surrender policy of the People's Alliance government. The one at the forefront of the rebellion that will throw these surrender policies into the trash is the Zafer Party and its Chairman, Mr. Ümit Özdağ.

On the day Ümit Özdağ regains his freedom on June 11, we will continue to fight these surrender policies tooth and nail.
