15 economists have spoken: Civil servants and retirees turn their eyes to Monday
Millions of retirees and civil servants are focused on the November inflation data to be announced on Monday. The results of an inflation survey involving 15 economists have been released.
Inflation figures concern a wide segment of the population, from minimum wage earners to civil servants and retirees.
While civil servants and civil servant retirees receive an inflation adjustment, SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees are entitled to a raise equal to the inflation rate.
Ahead of the November inflation data to be announced on Monday, the expectations of 15 economists have been released.
LOWEST 3 PERCENT, HIGHEST 4.6 PERCENT
Accordingly, the average of the economists' inflation expectations for November was 3.68 percent. The inflation expectations of the economists participating in the survey for November ranged from a low of 3 percent to a high of 4.60 percent.
Based on the average of the economists' inflation expectations for November, it is calculated that the annual inflation, which was 61.36 percent in the previous month, will rise to 62.61 percent.
The year-end inflation expectation in November was 66.80 percent.
On the other hand, looking at the inflation data for the second half of the year, monthly inflation figures showed an increase of 9.49 in July, 9.09 in August, 4.75 in September, and 3.43 in October.
