44 percent stake in Tavuk Dünyası and Dürümle changes hands

Investment interest in Tavuk Dünyası and Dürümle, two of Turkey's leading fast-food brands, has come to the fore once again. A consortium formed for the companies in question has acquired a total of 44 percent of the shares in these two brands. The consortium acquiring the stake includes Esas Private Equity, the Private Equity Fund I managed by Tacirler Portföy, LCP I owned by Lycian Capital and Azimut Group, the OIG GSYF managed by Qinvest Portföy, and Fiba Holding.

In the announcement made by the consortium, it was stated that this partnership would contribute to the growth targets set by the Tavuk Dünyası and Dürümle brands, as well as to the operational development processes of the businesses.

Founded in 2015, Tavuk Dünyası, and Dürümle, which began operations in 2020, have continued to accelerate their growth in a short period and expanded across the country. The majority stake in both brands continues to be managed by Mediterra Capital.

With the change in ownership, competition in Turkey's quick-service restaurant market is expected to intensify further. Experts point out that thanks to new investments and operational improvements, Tavuk Dünyası and Dürümle will strengthen their position in the sector.
