A week of selling on the stock market: Which stocks rose the most, and which ones crashed?

The BIST 100 index fell by 3.13 percent between June 22 and June 26. The index, which started the week at 14,791 points, closed at the 14,274 level. During this period, it saw a low of 14,147 and a high of 14,871 points.

The banking, holding, and industrial indices also experienced losses of 4.99 percent, 0.89 percent, and 1.82 percent, respectively.

THE TOP GAINERS AND LOSERS OF THE WEEK

Among the companies in the BIST 100 index, Balsu Gıda (BALSU) shares were the week's top performers with a 32.41 percent increase. BALSU was followed by Destek Finans Faktoring (DSTKF) with an 8.28 percent increase and Efor Yatırım (EFOR) with a 7.94 percent increase.

On the side of value loss, the stock that caused the most damage to investors was Ral Yatırım Holding (RALYH) with a 21.97 percent decline. This was followed by Hektaş (HEKTS), which decreased by 18.03 percent, and Mia Teknoloji (MIATK), which fell by 15.26 percent.

Looking at the market values of the companies, Aselsan (ASELS) maintained its lead with a value of 1 trillion 648 billion 440 million TL. Destek Finans Faktoring (DSTKF) ranked second with 1 trillion 154 billion 999 million TL, and Garanti BBVA (GARAN) took third place with 581 billion 280 million TL.

During this period, the company with the highest trading volume on Borsa İstanbul was Turkish Airlines (THYAO) with 64 billion 669 million TL. Aselsan (ASELS) with 44 billion 341 million TL and Astor Enerji (ASTOR) with 38 billion 339 million TL in trading volume rounded out the top three.

In a week where market volatility continued unabated, it was observed that differentiation on a stock-by-stock basis came to the fore. Experts state that the impact of global economic indicators and geopolitical developments on the markets will continue to be closely monitored in the coming days.
