Access blocked to 66 websites offering leveraged foreign exchange trading
The Capital Markets Board (SPK) has decided to block access to 66 websites on the grounds that they facilitate leveraged trading from abroad.
According to the SPK's bulletin dated November 22, a decision was made to initiate legal proceedings against certain websites.
The bulletin states the following: "It has been decided to initiate the necessary legal proceedings in accordance with the fourth paragraph of Article 99 of the Capital Markets Law to block access to the websites listed below, which have been determined to facilitate leveraged trading from abroad for persons residing in Turkey."
