AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, in a statement made in Ankara, evaluated the public expectation regarding whether there will be a mid-year raise for the minimum wage in July.

Clearly stating that a mid-year raise for the minimum wage in July is not currently on their agenda, Güler closed the door on a mid-year raise by saying, "We will continue to support our employees, our retirees, and those with low and fixed incomes. However, there is no such work on our agenda."

In his statement, Abdullah Güler also touched upon movements in inflation and fluctuations in oil prices, stating that they are determined to alleviate the burden on low-income citizens. Despite this, he said that under current conditions, there is no additional raise plan for the minimum wage on the table.
