Annual automotive production growth reached 4 percent in November

The automotive sector could not maintain the growth rate it showed in October during the month of November.

According to data from the Automotive Manufacturers Association, 138 thousand 735 units were produced in the automotive sector in November, an increase of 4 percent compared to the same month last year.

The annual growth increase in October had been 19 percent.

In November, 96 thousand 922 automobiles were produced, an annual increase of 15.4 percent.

Automotive exports fell by 2.8 percent annually to 94 thousand 143 units. Automobile exports fell by 1 percent to 61 thousand 361 units.

Exports in dollar terms increased by 8 percent annually in November to 3.2 billion dollars. Automobile exports rose by 13 percent to 943.9 million dollars.

Production for January-November increased by 11.5 percent to 1.35 million units.

Exports in terms of units increased by 5.7 percent in the January-November period to 926 thousand 223.

Exports in dollar terms increased by 14.7 percent in the January-November period to 32.5 billion dollars.
