Anti-dumping measures on imports of 'igniters' for Chinese-origin ovens and stoves to continue
It has been decided to continue the anti-dumping measures applied to the import of Chinese-origin "igniters (only those used as ignition systems in gas ovens and stoves)."
The Communiqué on the Prevention of Unfair Competition in Imports, prepared by the Ministry of Trade, has been published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
Accordingly, the sunset review investigation initiated for the import of the product in question and conducted by the General Directorate of Imports has been completed.
As a result of the investigation, it was determined that if the measure against Chinese-origin products were to be lifted, it is likely that dumping and injury would continue or recur.
Therefore, it has been decided that the anti-dumping measure currently in force on the import of the product in question will continue to be applied at a rate of 24.55 percent of the CIF value.
