Application period extended for 10,000 TL support for retirees

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has announced that the application period for its 10,000 TL cash social support program for low-income retirees has been extended until 5:30 PM on Monday, May 4, 2026.

In a statement released by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, it was noted that the application period was extended to allow more people to benefit from the support.

PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY THE COUNCIL

The "Retiree Social Support Project," which was discussed during the second session of the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipal Council in April, was approved unanimously by the members. The project aims to provide a contribution to retirees living in Kayseri who are in need of economic support.

PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE IN TWO INSTALLMENTS

Under the project, a total of 10,000 TL in cash support will be provided to retirees who meet the criteria. Payments will be made in two stages: 5,000 TL in May 2026 and 5,000 TL in November 2026.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Those wishing to benefit from the support must be citizens of the Republic of Turkey, reside in Kayseri, have been born before January 1, 1960, and be retired under the Social Security Institution (SGK) (4A, 4B, 4C).

In addition, applicants are required to have an income below the minimum wage, not be actively employed, and have no other income in the same household. Those who own registered residential property, vehicles, land, or commercial property will not be included in the scope of the support. Retirees receiving survivor's pensions or those residing in nursing homes and care centers will also be ineligible for the project.
