ATM limits changed ahead of Eid al-Adha: Here are the new withdrawal amounts by bank

Banks have updated their ATM withdrawal limits due to the increased need for cash ahead of Eid al-Adha. In the new limits, which vary from bank to bank, it was observed that QR code withdrawal limits remained low at some institutions.

Due to the increased demand for cash before the holiday, banks have updated their ATM transaction limits. The regulations, made to prevent potential congestion at ATMs during sacrificial animal purchases and holiday spending, have redefined daily cash withdrawal limits.

In the new limits announced by the banks, differences have emerged between cash and QR code withdrawal amounts.

UPDATED ATM WITHDRAWAL LIMITS

• Enpara: 60,000 TL (Cash) + 10,000 TL (QR)
• QNB Bank: 50,000 TL (Cash) + 50,000 TL (QR)
• İş Bankası: 20,000 TL (Cash) + 20,000 TL (QR)
• Garanti BBVA: 20,000 TL (Cash) + 20,000 TL (QR)
• VakıfBank: 20,000 TL (Cash) + 5,000 TL (QR)
• Yapı Kredi: 15,000 TL (Cash) + 15,000 TL (QR)
• ING Bank: 15,000 TL (Cash) + 15,000 TL (QR)
• Türk Ekonomi Bankası (TEB): 15,000 TL (Cash) + 15,000 TL (QR)
• Ziraat Bankası: 10,000 TL (Cash) + 10,000 TL (QR)
• Halkbank: 10,000 TL (Cash) + 10,000 TL (QR)
• Akbank: 10,000 TL (Cash) + 10,000 TL (QR)
• Denizbank: 10,000 TL (Cash) + 10,000 TL (QR)
• HSBC Bank: 10,000 TL (Cash) + 10,000 TL (QR)

LOW LIMITS ON QR TRANSACTIONS NOTED

It was observed that some banks kept limits lower for QR code withdrawals. Notably, the QR transaction limit at VakıfBank was set at 5,000 TL.

Citizens are advised to check their current transaction limits via mobile banking applications.

FEES MAY APPLY FOR EXCEEDING LIMITS

It was stated that users who wish to perform transactions above the set daily limits may encounter an "over-limit transaction fee." It was also reported that regular cash replenishment will be carried out at ATMs throughout the holiday.
